The in-person workshops for this have been popular so I'm offering a virtual edition for those who can't make it to the San Diego events. For a lot of us, sleep hygiene tips like dimming the lights early, putting screens away, and keeping our bedrooms cooler are useful, but they don't solve the whole problem. If we're still processing the day in our head, replaying conversations, or mentally rehearsing what we have to do tomorrow, a cooler room and blue-light glasses aren't going to be enough. What we often need help with is how to deal with the unfinished business our brains are trying to sort, predict, and protect us from at the end of the day. This workshop is designed to help you understand the brain science behind, and learn quick writing resets for, the mental states that tend to hijack our evenings and nights. We’ll also practice three simple, functional breathing techniques that pair with the writing prompts to help your body shift into wind-down mode. This workshop is online and the recording will be sent out to those who have registered. Hosted by Aine Kmen, Founder of JournalingFix. You can learn more about Aine and JournalingFix here.
