Event check-in

Event check-in is the on-site process of marking a registered attendee as present, usually by scanning the QR code on their ticket or searching their name.

Check-in produces real attendance data, as distinct from registrations, and powers no-show analysis, capacity tracking at the door, and sponsor or catering guarantees. It’s the moment a sign-up becomes an actual guest.
