How to permanently delete your Eventship account.
Permanently remove your personal information from Eventship.
Before you delete
Think carefully. Account deletion cannot be undone. Here's what happens:
Your personal data is removed:
- Your name, email, phone, and social links are cleared
- Your profile picture and bio are removed
- Your profile is no longer visible to others
Your history is preserved (anonymized):
- Past registrations and transactions are kept for record-keeping, but your identity is removed from them
- This ensures hosts can maintain accurate financial records
Who can delete their account
You can delete your account if you don't have any active hosting responsibilities. The system checks for blockers before allowing deletion:
- You can't delete if you're actively hosting upcoming events
- You can't delete if you have pending sponsorship obligations
- Resolve these first, then delete your account
How to delete
- Sign in to Eventship
- Go to Account settings
- Scroll to the bottom
- Click Delete account
- Read the warning message
- Confirm you want to delete
Your personal data is removed immediately.
After deletion
- You won't receive any more emails from Eventship
- You can sign up again with the same email, but it will be a new account
- Your anonymized transaction history is retained for compliance
Tips
- Download or export any important event data first
- Make sure you're no longer registered for events you need to attend
- If you're hosting, transfer or cancel your events before deleting
