Event matches

Get introduced to other attendees before or after an event.

Get introduced to people at events based on shared interests. Networking just got a lot easier.

How Matching Works

Hosts can enable matching (introductions) for their events. Eventship uses your profile information—interests, industry, role, and professional functions—to find relevant matches among other attendees.

When You Get Matched

Introductions are sent before the event so you can plan to meet your matches in person. You'll receive an email with your matches. Each introduction shows who you matched with and a personalized reason why (shared interests, complementary roles, same industry, etc.).

Message Your Matches

After you get an introduction email, you can message those people directly. They can message you back. Start a conversation about the event, shared interests, or collaboration.

Make Matching Useful

Complete your profile thoroughly—add your interests, role, industry, and professional functions. The more detail you provide, the better your matches will be. Attend the event and follow up right after.

Privacy

Matches only see people at the same event. You control whether you want to message someone or not.

Event Organizer Control

Hosts decide whether to enable matching for their event. Matching uses attendee profile data to find the best connections.

No Bad Matches?

If a match didn't work out, no problem. You never have to message someone. Matches are suggestions, not requirements.

Follow Up

Matches are most useful right after an event while the experience is fresh. Reach out within a week for better connection rates.
