You can't message random people. This keeps your inbox safe.
Go to the "Messages" section in the main navigation. All your conversations appear here. Search for a person by name.
Find someone's profile at an event or in your network. Click "Message." Your first message opens a conversation. They can reply and you're chatting.
After an event with matching enabled, you'll receive introduction emails. Those people can message you directly. You can message them back without waiting for them to reach out.
Messages are private between you and the other person. Be respectful. Don't share personal info unless you trust the person.
You'll get notified when someone messages you. Adjust notification settings in your preferences if you want fewer alerts.
If someone's messaging makes you uncomfortable, you can block them. They won't see your profile or be able to message you again.
Check messages on your phone anytime. The app syncs with the web version. You're always connected.
