Our special guest will be Maggie Teske, Founder & Lead Inventor of Tarragon, a San Diego-based compassionate startup company focuses on creating innovative sensory tools to help children access calm through mindful breathing. As an Occupational Scientist & Therapist by training, Maggie founded Tarragon in 2024 (the year of Dragon; whiles Tarragon is a kind of culinary herb means dragon in Eurasia) to help children and their caregivers sharing their best with our world. Its first prototype was developed in partnership with the Biomedical Engineering Department at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (a.k.a. Cal Poly), the team is actively developing with the vast community input from organizations such as Janus Innovation Hub, The First Center For Autism and Innovation at Vanderbilt University School of Engineering, The Brink Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at University of San Diego, to name a few.
