Join Brandon Griggs from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for an inside look at the wide range of careers that support agriculture at the federal level. Brandon works in human resources and hiring and has spent the last five years working in agriculture after previously serving with the Department of Defense. In this conversation, he’ll share his own career path, what hiring within the federal government looks like, and some of the roles the USDA is actively hiring for today. The conversation will also explore opportunities students may not immediately associate with agriculture, including auditing, IT auditing, and roles that evaluate how government funding is used across agricultural programs and internal operations. Students from agriculture, accounting, business, IT, and other majors are encouraged to attend.
