Art and Stone in Conversation An Exhibition of Works by Italian Painter Aladino Ghioni Petra Stone invites the public to experience a rare exhibition of works by Italian painter Aladino Ghioni, presented in dialogue with the extraordinary natural stone collections of the gallery. Over the course of a lifetime devoted to painting, Ghioni has developed a deeply personal visual language shaped by memory, myth, and the landscapes of imagination. His compositions move between the intimate and the monumental, where figures, symbols, and dreamlike environments unfold through luminous color and disciplined form. Installed within the material landscape of Petra Stone, the paintings enter into conversation with natural stone, one shaped through gesture and imagination, the other through geological time. Together they invite a slower way of seeing, where art and material reveal unexpected resonances. This exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to encounter Ghioni’s work in an intimate setting and to experience the dialogue between artistic expression and the natural world.
