Following the success of San Diego's First Responsible and Human-Centered AI Forum, WE ARE IN AI™ brings a Human-Centered AI Design Experience to San Diego Design Week 2026. Every organization is implementing AI. But implementation is not innovation. The organizations, designers, and builders that will define the digital world of the year 2040 are not the ones moving fastest. They are the ones designing most intentionally. Every design decision we make today is a statement about the future we believe in. And the people we believe deserve to be part of it. We are at the most consequential design moment of our generation. very organization will look back at this moment. Some will be proud of what they built. Others will wish they had asked different questions while there was still time. The time to start designing with a human-centered approach is now. Real AI innovation does not start with the technology. It starts with the people. Human-centered design changes the question. Not what can this technology do but what do people actually need. That shift is where real innovation begins. In this hands-on session the future is not a slide deck. It is something you build in the room. Alongside fellow designers, builders, and leaders you will move from conversation to creation. Questioning the assumptions behind how AI is built today, design a better experience, and walk away with a new lens that changes how you approach digital decisions. This is not your traditional AI event. It is a creative experience that will remind you the future is still ours to design. WHO SHOULD ATTEND This experience is designed for designers, UX professionals, artists, product teams, founders, and anyone who touches the digital world we are all building together. No technical background required. Just curiosity and a belief that we can design better. WHY TO ATTEND Because the future is not something that happens to us. It is something we design. And it starts with you. Special thanks to Kiln Rancho Bernardo for providing us the space to host this event.
