This Friendsgiving, we're getting together to learn the “car stuff” you wish you'd known years ago—with good company, hands-on learning, and a little gratitude for the vehicles that get us where we're going. 🦃🔧 Whether you're brand new to car maintenance or you've always wanted to understand what's happening under the hood, this workshop is designed to make automotive care feel approachable, useful, and fun. 🎯 Perfect for ages 14+ 🍂 What you'll learn: 🔧 Basic automotive safety — learn how to safely work around your vehicle and avoid common garage hazards 🛠️ Essential vehicle maintenance — the basic skills every driver should know 🛞 Tires & tire pressure — learn how to check your tires and understand why proper tire pressure matters 🧴 Fluids & filters — learn what your vehicle needs and how to recognize when something doesn't look right 🔍 How to communicate with a mechanic confidently — understand recommended repairs, ask better questions, and make informed decisions 🚨 Warning signs & dashboard lights — learn what your vehicle may be trying to tell you before a small problem becomes a big one 🙌 This is NOT a lecture—it's 100% hands-on! We'll have up to 4 vehicles in class, so if you'd like your own car to receive a free inspection, just let us know ahead of time. 🍁 What to bring: Clothes you don't mind getting dirty Closed-toed shoes Water Sunscreen or a sweater (we'll be outside the entire class!)
