There's a word we keep coming back to: conviviendo. Living together, sharing life, being fully present with people ... not performing connection, just letting it happen. This summer, my family found a small group of expats in Estepona, Spain who meet weekly on the beach. No structure, no membership, just "come as you are." The founder didn't even like calling it a group ... she was looking for community and built a doorway for others to find theirs too. Ten strangers and friends, one good question, and everyone left a little more connected than they arrived. That's what we want to build here in North County. Global Citizens is a small breakfast gathering for curious, globally-minded people, the kind who've made unconventional choices, or are thinking about it. People who care more about freedom, family, and real conversation than status or the default path. Our first one was in August and it was awesome!
