The pack is back. Summer ended, the moon got bigger, and we're not done getting everyone together. Howl-o-ween is our second Howl House, and we're keeping what worked: good San Diegans, great vibes, and zero pressure. Why we're doing this again Honest answer: the summer party was too fun not to. We want to keep celebrating the people building here in San Diego, and keep making space for the kind of collision where you meet someone you'd never have crossed paths with otherwise. Still leaving at the door Nametags: just ask their name. Forgot it? Ask again. And again. It's okay. Business cards: let's not sell, let's come curious about each other. The hype: no hot takes, no best practices. Just people. What a successful night looks like We had fun! We each scheduled a follow-up with someone interesting we met. It felt cool enough that you'll want to come to our holiday party. The Sidequest Hour is back Bring a small token with a cool story (or that's just plain quirky) to trade with someone you connect with. Low value, high memory. Think embroidered patches, beaded bracelets, small figurines, pins, or coins. Bonus points if it's a little spooky, but it's not required. Still to be announced: venue, sponsors, music, bevs, and a few Howl-o-ween surprises. Costumes mandatory.
