It's India's 80th Independence Day this weekend and one of several things that the U.S. and India have in common! Let's celebrate with a culinary journey across India. East India Co is maybe the appropriate place to go as they bring Indian food within a context of the British Empire with historic photos on their walls. They serve dishes from the North, South, East and Western parts of India. I'm excited to introduce you to some new dishes and some familiar ones. We'll serve food family style so you can enjoy a variety of flavors and dishes, or you're welcome to order on your own. Dietary preferences can be included but not guaranteed. Budget about $35 approx. for food, drink and tip. $5 ticket covers cost of planning and hosting.
