WE WILL BE PAST THE TWO PONDS AND MAKE A LEFT, AND EITHER AT THE VERY FIRST AREA ON THE VERY LEFT OR ON THE OTHER SIDE, DEPENDING WHAT IS OPEN THAT DAY. YOU WILL SEE ME WITH A TIE DYE SHEET AND A SET OF CRYSTAL SOUND BOWLS! You do not have to be a Reiki practitioner to join! Join like minded souls and give and receive healing with a monthly theme. Open to all! This event meets once a month. What is Reiki? Reiki is an energy healing modality that was developed in Japan in the early 20th century. "Reiki" translates to Univeral Life Energy. Energy healing can be done either in person or at a distance and it still works the same. What is Sekhem Reiki? Sekhem Reiki is sourced by the Egyptian Goddess, Sekhmet. She is the lioness Goddess who helps with: -strength and protection -desctruction of what no longer serves you -transformation and breaking old patterns -building a new foundation for growth What do we do in a healing circle? We will start with introductions and a theme for the month. Meet like minded souls who are also following their spirutal path and soul's journey. Next, we will send Reiki to a person or animal in need who is not present in the circle. After that, we will get to pick a situation in our lives to send Reiki to. This could be a current challenging situation, something that happened in the past, or a future event. Lastly, everyone will lay down and receive the energy healing through the sound bath. Participants have reported feeling uplifted, buzzing with energy, and feeling grateful to be able to give to others. This is a free offering, however, donations are welcomed. Shortly afterward, I discovered Sekhem Reiki and felt a much stronger connection to this modality. Inspired to deepen my practice, I completed all levels of training and earned my Sekhem Reiki Master certification on August 18, 2019. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I significantly expanded my work with Sekhem Reiki through distance healing sessions. To my surprise and fascination, many of these sessions felt even more profound and transformative than those conducted in person. This experience deepened my understanding of the limitless nature of energy healing and strengthened my commitment to the practice. In 2020, I completed an apprenticeship with my teacher, Dr. Liana Carbon, which qualified me to teach and facilitate Sekhem Reiki certification classes. Since January 2023, I have been working for a company that operates three women-centered treatment facilities, supporting hundreds of individuals healing from trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges. Serving clients in this setting has been one of the greatest honors of my career. Witnessing the impact of Sekhem Reiki within this level of care continues to inspire me and reinforces my belief in its transformative potential. In addition to my work in treatment centers, I also support private clients through my practice, Mindbloom Wellness, where I offer personalized healing sessions and guidance on their wellness journeys. I offer Sekhem Reiki in person and virtually, Nature Therapy, mantras and malas, sound healing, breathwork and Kundalini Yoga.
