Virtual event

AI will get you to a working app faster than any tool you have used. It will not tell you which parts of that app you are going to be afraid to touch in six weeks. This session covers both halves of building fast. Putting features and content out at speed, and building on something that holds while you do it. What Dan is working on Dan King builds San Diego Treasure Hunt, a mobile app with walking tours of hidden gems across San Diego neighborhoods. For a content app, the bottleneck is rarely the code. It is the volume and freshness of the content, and every new neighborhood is a fresh research project. Dan will show live how he uses AI to expand that library. What he hands to the model, what he keeps for himself, and where the output still needs a human who has actually walked the route. What Todd is working on Two things. First, foundations. Testing and documentation for AI-assisted builds, the work most vibe coders skip because it reads like a tax on momentum. It is not. Docs are the context your model needs once it has forgotten how your app works, and tests are how you find out fast whether the last change quietly cost you something. Second, a live build. he's adding a way to visualize onboarding flows, because a flow you can see is a flow you can debug, and the map can be handed straight to a coding agent as a build prompt. What you'll leave with The foundation habits worth adding to an AI-assisted project this week A repeatable way to use AI on content work without producing sludge A look at real prompting and real mistakes in a real codebase Time to ask your own questions live Who it's for Founders and builders using AI to ship product, technical or not. If you have something half built and a growing nervousness about its insides, this is your session. Format 90 minutes, live and unscripted, on YouTube. Questions welcome throughout. Hosts Todd Bashor, founder of Founder Guide. 25+ years in product, co-founded and sold NewRocket. Dan King, experienced software engineer and vibe coder, builder of San Diego Treasure Hunt.
