Join us to see how they do it. We'll be traveling to Amazon Fulfillment Center SAN3 to take a look at how Amazon works and operates. All are invited, but pease be aware that tickets are limited. Plan to meet at the facility 15 minutes prior to the tour. If you're able, arrange a carpool ahead of time. ADDITIONAL INFO The Fulfillment Center The Fulfillment Center in San Diego, CA is a robotics sortable facility. In these centers, associates ship items smaller than a conventional microwave alongside robots. Arrival When you arrive at the site, if the gate arms are down, please press the call button to speak with security. Let them know you are on-site for a public tour, and they will grant you access. After entering, turn right and park in the West Lot. From there, walk to the main entrance and inform security that you’re here for the public tour. A Tour Leader will meet you out front shortly. Tour Duration Each tour is approximately 60-90 minutes long. On the tour you may walk up and down at least one flight of stairs and walk approximately 1 mile. Arrive Early Early arrival is strongly recommended. Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour. If guests do not arrive on time, the tour will start without you. Once the tour has begun, guests will not be able to join the tour. Attire To ensure the safety, comfort, and security of all guests, we require visitors to follow our dress code while participating in warehouse tours. Guests must wear flat, closed-toed, and closed-heeled shoes (no sandals, clogs, Crocs, or high heels). We recommend comfortable shoes or sneakers. Visitor badges must be worn at all times for security and identification purposes (Amazon will issue breakaway-type lanyards upon check-in). Long hair must be pulled at or above shoulder length. Loose-fitting clothing and accessories (such as long-hanging jewelry, scarves, or ties) are not permitted. Headscarves worn for religious reasons are permitted but must be tucked in securely. Other attire or head coverings worn for religious reasons are permitted, provided they do not create a safety hazard. Not Permitted: Sandals, clogs, Crocs, high heels, or other unstable footwear. Offensive or revealing clothing. Our warehouse is an active work environment with moving equipment, shelving, and uneven surfaces. Appropriate attire, identification, and footwear help reduce the risk of injury and ensure security. Visitors who do not meet these requirements will not be permitted to join the tour. Identification Upon your arrival, your tour leader will ask for a government issued photo ID. Please ensure that guest information submitted during sign-up matches the guest ID. Guests under the age of 18 are not required to provide any form of identification. Guest Registration Required Guests must sign up for the tour prior to arrival. Walk-ins will not be admitted into the tour. Children We welcome young visitors to experience our warehouse tours; however, for safety and security reasons, the following rules apply to all minors (under age 18). The minimum age for tour participation is 6 years old. Children younger than 6 years old will not be permitted on tours. All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult (age 18 or older) who presents a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. For groups of children, there must be at least 1 adult for every 10 minors in attendance. Accompanying adults are responsible for the behavior, safety, and supervision of minors at all times during the tour. Our warehouse is an active environment with moving equipment and machinery. For the safety of all guests, minors must remain with their group and follow all safety instructions from our tour staff. Children must be able to walk the tour route without assistance and wear required safety attire (see Attire). Guests who do not meet these requirements will not be permitted to join the tour. Accessibility Amazon Fulfillment Centers are accessible facilities. To request a specific accommodation for a tour, please reach out via the Amazon Tours Help Center ahead of registration to confirm we can support. Service Animals Pets are not authorized on the tour. Service animals are permitted in all public areas and on the tour. Service animals are dogs that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability and does not include emotional support, comfort, or companionship animals. Language Tours are conducted in English. Sign Language support is available with at least two weeks advanced notice. Photography All filming or photography of any kind is strictly prohibited, including the use of mobile phones, smart devices, wearable technology, or augmented-reality glasses (such as Meta Glasses).
