Bring your audience from other platforms to Eventship. Upload a CSV of email addresses and we'll handle the rest — existing Eventship users get followed automatically, and everyone else gets an account created so they can receive your save the dates and announcements.
Only host owners and admins can import followers. Go to your dashboard, click the People tab, then click Import.
Your CSV file needs an email column. You can also include first name and last name columns. We accept common header formats like "Email Address", "E-mail", "First Name", "Last Name", or "Surname".
If your CSV has a single name column instead of separate first/last, we'll automatically split it into first and last name (e.g. "Alice Smith" becomes first name "Alice", last name "Smith").
Most platforms let you export your contacts as a CSV:
Pro hosts with a paid tier can also include a member column. Set it to "yes" to import people as paid members instead of free subscribers. For example:
email,first name,last name,member
[email protected],Alice,Smith,yes
[email protected],Bob,Jones,Alice is imported as a paid member; Bob as a free subscriber. This is useful when you handle payments outside of Eventship.
The file must be under 2 MB.
Each host can import up to 500 followers total across all uploads. The modal shows your current usage and remaining capacity. If you need a higher limit, contact [email protected].
Yes. If you import the same CSV again, people already following will be skipped. Only new email addresses count toward your import limit.
