About
Tracy Steele is the Founder of Community Cultivator, a social impact initiative on a mission to help military spouses build meaningful careers, connection, and belonging. A longtime Marine Corps spouse, Tracy turned constant relocation into a competitive advantage, using community leadership and strategic volunteering to upskill, build networks, and create opportunity where it didn’t exist. With 8+ years in workforce development and leadership experience at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes, she has helped hundreds of military spouses land meaningful careers through innovative programs, employer partnerships, and talent pipelines. Today, Tracy is building Community Cultivator in San Diego, partnering with employers, nonprofits, and civic leaders to create stronger pathways to employment and deeper community connection for military families. She’s known for connecting people, creating opportunity, and turning big ideas into action.
