The Design for Clean Water: Stormwater Pollution Challenge is a community competition that sparks creativity to protect San Diego’s waterways. Presented by BluPeak Credit Union in partnership with Project Clean Water and I Love A Clean San Diego, the challenge invites design professionals, artists, students, environmentalists, and creative teams to develop innovative, sustainable solutions that reduce stormwater pollution. Selected teams receive microgrants to develop and prototype their ideas, with projects showcased on Project Clean Water and partner platforms, and highlighted at regional community events. This challenge is more than a competition—it’s an opportunity to bring art, science, and community together to inspire action and protect our waterways. Meeting Place Description: When entering from W Point Loma Blvd, drive down Bacon Street past the first curve in the road; you will pass dumpsters on your right-hand side. Meet at the picnic area between Field #2 and the tennis courts- see attached map. Look for our I Love A Clean San Diego flags and tents!
