Create discount codes to offer deals on tickets. Great for early birds, special offers, or loyalty.

Create a promo code

  1. Go to your event and click Tickets or Promotions
  2. Click Create promo code or Add code
  3. Fill in:

- Code - What text will people enter? (e.g., "EARLYBIRD20")

- Discount type - Percentage off or fixed dollar amount

- Discount value - How much off? (e.g., 20% or $10)

- Applies to - Which ticket types can use this code?

- Usage limit - How many times can it be used? (optional—leave blank for unlimited)

Discount types

Percentage off - "20% off" applies to any ticket price.

Fixed amount - "$10 off" subtracts a fixed amount from the ticket price.

Apply to specific tickets

You can make a code work on:

  • All ticket types
  • Just one ticket type
  • Multiple specific types

For example: Create an "STUDENT20" code that only works on the $50 ticket type.

Usage limits

Unlimited - Leave blank. Anyone can use the code as many times as they want.

Limited - Set a number. The code stops working once it's used that many times.

Example: "EARLYBIRD50" with limit 10 means only 10 people can use it.

Expiration

Set an expiration date if you want the code to stop working on a certain date. Great for time-sensitive offers.

Share your code

Promote the code:

  • Email it to your audience
  • Post on social media
  • Include in event descriptions

View code usage

See how many times each code has been used in your event dashboard:

  1. Go to your event
  2. Click Promo codes or Promotions
  3. View usage for each active code

Tips

  • Use clear, memorable code names (EARLYBIRD, FRIENDS, SPEAKER)
  • Set expiration dates for limited offers
  • Track which codes drive the most sales
  • You can disable a code anytime without deleting it
  • Codes work at checkout—attendees enter them when buying
