Bring an event from Eventbrite, Luma, Meetup, or any event page to Eventship.
Already have an event on another platform? Bring it to Eventship in seconds. Our importer pulls in all the key details so you don't have to re-enter everything manually.
Supported platforms
You can import events from virtually any event page, including:
- Eventbrite
- Luma
- Meetup
- Partiful
- Most other event pages with public event details
How to import
- Go to Create Event
- Click the dropdown arrow next to the create button
- Select Import from URL
- Paste the URL of your event page (e.g.
https://luma.com/your-event) - Click Extract and wait a few seconds while we analyze the page
- Review the extracted details — title, date, location, tickets, and agenda
- Click Import event to bring it into Eventship
What gets imported
The importer pulls in as much detail as it can find:
- Event title and description
- Date, time, and timezone
- Venue name and address
- Cover image
- Ticket types and pricing
- Agenda and sessions
After importing
Your event is created as a draft. You can review and edit everything before publishing:
- Fine-tune the description or add more details
- Adjust ticket types or pricing
- Add registration questions
- Upload a new cover image
- Set up co-hosts
When everything looks good, hit Publish to go live.
Tips
- Make sure the event page is publicly accessible (not behind a login wall)
- If the importer misses some details, you can always add them manually in the event editor
- The original event on the other platform is not affected — importing just copies the details
Import via API or AI assistant
You can also import events programmatically through the Eventship API or by asking the AI assistant. Just provide the URL and the event will be created as a draft on your host profile. See the API docs or MCP Server articles for details.
